The Lip then lambastes James Dolan for his reprehensible behavior as Knicks owner over the last 17 years. The boys discuss the Islanders’ tough night in Toronto and provide a sobering preview of what lies ahead for the team. The Lip calls out the Canadian media and bluntly dashes its hopes that John Tavares will one day come home. The Hip provides a little inSIGHT into his medical history.

Episode 47 – One Pendulum Swing

Hip and Lip give their “raw” reactions to the wild finish to the Super Bowl 51 and the Lip reveals his “GOAT” (not who you may expect).  The Hip draws a parallel between the unexpected outcomes of the Presidential Election and the Super Bowl while the Lip unleashes the full wrath of his ranting powers at the Falcons head coach Dan Quinn for the decision making that ultimately led to the Falcons’ demise.  The Hip and Lip express their disappointment that the Pats OT TD lacked the drama due to a sense of inevitability that the Pats would win and propose an alternative system for a Super Bowl OT.  The guys give their props to Brady and Belichick while the Lip encourages the debate of “greatest of all time” to rage on.  The conclusion focuses on the never ending circus that is the New York Knicks while the HMOZ is centered around the NHL commissioner who induced a guffaw that will require a variation of ROFL.

Episode 46 – From Heroes To Villians

Hip and the Lip break down Super Bowl LI for those who are starved for more coverage of “The Big Game.”  The Lip commences the preview by sharing his “WGAS” attitude to the game and his preference of the “social aspects” of the viewing experience; the Hip points out that the Lip’s approach is precisely what the NFL wants to hear and is feeding into the overblown machination that the NFL has concocted.  The boys finally devolve into their breakdown of the game as the Lip stresses pass rush for the Falcons and the Hip questions whether the Pats defense can handle the impressive versatility that the Falcons offense possess.  The Hip introduces the Islanders – Barclays Center controversy by describing his flabbergast of the story leading the local 11 O’Clock news while the Lip brushes off the “story” as just headline grabbing fodder.
