Hip and the Lip offer a detailed breakdown of the New York Giants’ loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wildcard round of the playoffs.  The Hip pushes the Lip to pinpoint Odell Beckham Jr.’s shortcomings in the game.  They then review the other NFL Wildcard round games, none of which were all too competitive.  They then preview the upcoming NFL Divisional Round games.  The Lip rips apart Derrick Rose for his AWOL on the night the Knicks take on the Pelicans at home.

Hip and the Lip recap the New York Giants’ win over the Washington Redskins in week 17 of the 2016-17 NFL season.  They then look ahead to the full slate of the upcoming Wildcard Playoff round, most notably the New York Giants at the Green Bay Packers.  Hip and the Lip each make their Super Bowl predictions.  The Lip acknowledges better play of the New York Islanders’ Josh Bailey.

Hip and the Lip cover the New York Giants’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.  Despite the loss, the Giants secure a playoff spot for the first time in five years.  Hip and the Lip discuss whether the Giants should rest any starters for its week 17 game against the Washington Redskins.  The Hip questions a reporter’s “demand” that the New York Jets start Christian Hackenberg at quarterback.  The Lip criticizes the New York Knicks’ defensive play.   The Lip acknowledges some good play from the New York Islanders in defeating the divisional foe Washington Capitals.

Hip and the Lip recap the New York Giants’ win over the Detroit Lions and look forward to a potential playoff clinching game against the Philadelphia Eagles.  They gloss over the exciting New York Jets.  The Hip and the Lip exchange perspectives on the New York Knicks, and the Lip offers some choice words to NBA superstars who periodically sit out games for “rest” purposes.  The Lip of course has no shortage of words for the struggling New York Islanders and the upcoming bobblehead giveaway.

The Hip and the Lip close the book on the 2016 MLB season with a review of the World Series.  They then discuss how they will discuss the New York Jets less and less each week over the remainder of the season.  The New York Giants, however, are poised to improve as the season progresses following an impressive win against divisional foe Philadelphia Eagles.  The Lip then offers his displeasure with the state of the New York Islanders as a team heading in the wrong direction.
